BICYCLE TOUR THROUGH GARZÓN, THE URUGUAYAN TUSCANY
MEETING POINT: Includes round trip transfers from hotels in Punta del Este, La Barra or Jose Ignacio.
PRIVATE TOUR SCHEDULE: Every day at a time to be coordinated with the passengers.
DURATION: 4 to 6 hours in accordance with the pace of the passengers.
TOUR GUIDE: Spanish, English and Portuguese.
INCLUDES: Bicycle and helmet, hand bag, support vehicle, specialized tour guide, healthy snack, visit to the winery with tasting, bottle of water. Also, free time for lunch (optional).
The tour starts at the traditional “Pulpería” of Garzón, where we will start biking to the quiet village of Garzón. Upon arrival, visit the main square, the chapel and the train station before continuing to Bodega Garzón. Built on rocky landscape, the winery offers breathtaking views of vineyards set within rocky hillsides with intense, well-drained mineral soils that create high quality grapes. Suggested lunch (not included) at the winery or at “El Garzón” restaurant (owned by renowned Argentinean chef Francis Mallmann). After lunch, transfer back to your hotel.
