ITINERARY
Day 1: Montevideo
Arrival in Montevideo. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 2: Montevideo
Breakfast at the hotel. At the appointed time, a guided tour of Montevideo. We will visit Independence Square, where we will see the Citadel Gate, the Solís Theatre, the Executive Tower, the Estévez Palace, the Salvo Palace, and the monument to Uruguayan hero José Gervasio Artigas.
We will drive along part of the main avenue (18 de Julio) and then head towards the Legislative Palace (Parliament).
We will visit the Montevideo Agricultural Market, which operates inside a historic building and offers a wide variety of local products. The José Batlle y Ordoñez Park will be the next stop on the tour, from where we will see the Centenario Stadium and the Carreta Monument.
We will then continue to the Rambla de Montevideo from Pocitos to the Montevideo sign, where the tour ends. Return to the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation.
Day 3: Montevideo – Colonia del Sacramento – Montevideo.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, we will take a trip to Colonia del Sacramento, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and founded by the Portuguese Empire over 300 years ago. We will tour the historic district and its picturesque streets, the Rambla Costanera, the Real de San Carlos with its old bullring, the Church of San Benito, and the city's residential neighbourhoods. Return to Montevideo at the end of the afternoon. Accommodation.
Day 4: Montevideo - Punta del Este
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart for Punta del Este. We will leave via the coast of Montevideo to one of the main beach resorts in South America, where we will discover its main beaches, residential neighbourhoods, the undulating Barra Bridge, and stop to take photos, as well as have free time for lunch (not included).
At the end of this tour, we will drop you off at your hotel in Punta Del Este. Accommodation.
Day 5: Punta del Este
Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, a tour of the city of Punta del Este. Accommodation.
Day 6: Punta del Este
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day in Punta del Este.
Day 7: Punta del Este
Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, transfer to Punta del Este Airport.
