COMBINED HYATT CENTRIC MONTEVIDEO - THE GRAND PUNTA DEL ESTE
ITINERARY
▪ Day 1 - Montevideo - Arrival in the city of Montevideo. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Lodging.
▪ Day 2 - Montevideo - Breakfast at the hotel. At the appointed time, guided city tour in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus with photo stops at emblematic places of Montevideo. We will visit the Independence Square where we will find the Gate of the Citadel, the Solis Theater, the Executive Tower, the Estevez Palace, the Salvo Palace and the monument to the Uruguayan hero José Gervasio Artigas. We will walk along part of the main avenue (18 de Julio), and then we will go to the Legislative Palace (Parliament). We will visit the Agricultural Market of Montevideo, which operates inside a historic building and offers a wide variety of local products. The José Batlle y Ordoñez Park will be the next stop of the tour, from where we will see the Centenario Stadium and the Monument to the Cart; to continue then towards the Rambla de Montevideo from Pocitos to cartel Montevideo where the tour ends. Return to the hotel. Lodging.
▪ Day 3 - Montevideo - Breakfast at the hotel. At the appointed time, visit to the Bouza Winery, one of the classic and best known artisanal wineries in our country. In a unique environment we will enjoy touring its facilities and vineyards. The visit is complemented with a 3-step lunch a la carte where each step is accompanied by a wine for pairing. At the indicated time, transfer back to the hotel. Lodging.
▪ Day 4 - Montevideo - Punta del Este. Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, transfer to Punta del Este. Lodging. In the afternoon, guided tour of the city of Punta del Este to visit the Peninsula Shopping Center, Craft Fair, Yacht Harbor, Parish of Our Lady of Candelaria, Corner of the Four Seas, Lighthouse, promenade of the Americas where we can take pictures of “The Monumental Hand”, sculpture icon of our resort. We will continue to the residential neighborhoods, with their beautiful gardens and spectacular mansions; Barra de Maldonado, Waving Bridges, Parque Indígena, El Jagüel, Beverly Hills, Barrios Lugano, Cantegrille. The last stop of the tour is at the Museo Taller CasaPueblo of the renowned Uruguayan artist Carlos Páez Vilaró, where we can enjoy the beautiful sunset of Punta Ballena accompanied by a glass of champagne.
▪ Day 5 - Punta del Este. Breakfast at the hotel. At the appointed time, we will visit Bodega Garzón, one of the most traditional wineries in Uruguay. In a unique environment we will enjoy a Reserve Tour (guided tour of the winery facilities with wine tasting during the tour) and a lunch with a 4-step menu based on fresh products of each season. At the indicated time, return to the hotel. Lodging.
▪ Day 6 - Punta del Este - Montevideo. Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, transfer to Montevideo Airport or Montevideo Port.
